Do you know Tast of Sharon Boggon? click This is the new stitch.
For the first time I used Anne Lange's handdyed variegated mulberry thread
It is soft and wonderful and expensive. The pink perle is just cotton -
I used it for "stretching" and finally used up the rest with a single woven trellis stitch
very nice Anneliese and the thread looks lovely. Seeing your stitching reminds me that I meant to do some beaded buttonhole on my latest crazy block but forgot! Will try and do it on the august block
Such pretty colours! I always use normal thread for the base of woven stitches, the special threads are just too pretty for that.
ReplyDeleteso pretty and i love your placement of the beads.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful thread! It makes the Woven Trellis Stitches so pretty.
