Chained bar - 122 and Woven Chained bar 123 - and a basket

I proofed to be very patient with this stitch - it took me long

About three cups of coffee......

You see the last row - it consists of actually three rows.
The layered threads which are oversewn by first zig-zag
chain stitches - and the name for it is chained bar (122)
They are then woven resulting in the woven chained bar - stitch no. 123.
And the new basket .....
It took me half as long as the above Tast stitch ---- (joking)
No, really it doesn't take very long to sew it - if the machine
is not playing a dirty trick.

I like to show the backsides !

Pin cushion number XX?
By the way I used many Tast stitches. Starting at the front door: Bullion knot,
buttonhole wheel, French knots, buttonhole wheel cup,
and under the roof? Three raised cups - not very much raised and looking rather triangular.

Side with the girl: Chain stitches and two needle woven picots, half buttonhole wheel.

Sorry for the yellowish night photos

And der Hauswand hoch
Growing up the wall: Looped cretan stitch.

it is an old house!! Wonky and wobbly.

More stitches

My stitch band

photo taken without sun

Crested chain stitch - bullion buttonhole stitch
and wrapped coral stitch
and below is the backside. I am sure the knots are
not very expert-like. But I make it like that - et voilà
I am getting the stitches from
Sharonb's site with much information about stitching and embroidery
click here if you are interested
Sharon has many pages which are interesting  -

Herringbone square - laced square herringbone
buttonholed herringbone - sailor stitch - sailor's edge

And here comes the sun: Hm, photos taken in the sun .....

From the top: wrapped coral stitch - Portuguese stem stitch (2 rows)
zig-zag chain - woven zig-zag chain - Vandyke stitch - woven cross stitch

cloud filling stitch. For the two lower rows I used detached chain stitch
as anchor stitch.

Some more stitches

I felt like adding two lines of coral stitches

right side above the buttonholed double chain

And the fancy hem stitch (67) which was still missing
My lines are rather close so the wrapping cannot be seen so well

Not very sharp -
the red lines are the fancy hem stitches

And great success for me: I learned how to add text under each photo!
