Damp stretching the leaf

I am damp stretching the fabric around the leaf

I do it with pins on an iron board (which I made myself).

I learned it from Karen Ruane when I took part in the button class.

  4. The leaf is beautiful. I love to see thread used as if it were paint.

  7. what a wonderful leaf, so many stitches, it will be a great reference to refer back to.
Wish I had done my tast stitches in a similar way, maybe if I get bored one day which is unlikely I can give it a go but there is so so much I want to do and not enough time to do it all!
