Little house and more

....made with a pattern by Quilt My Design Stof, Mønstre, Sykit alt til Patchwork and whoever is behind this - thank you! I got the pattern through my friends Angelika and Waltraud who have been in Ste.-Marie-aux-Mines, France, at the Carrefour Europeen du Patchwork

The backside of the house standing on a rock.

Some days ago I got little red pepperonis, half a kilo. My neighbour mixed up the seeds with the sweet peppers and was stunned with the rich crop but also stunned because they did not grow out of their dwarflike shape. They are hot like devil. I wanted to make something out of them and cooked them with vingar and sugar at same rates hoping to soften the taste - no way. Still hot like devil.

Dip your fork a little bit into the sirup and you can spit fire like a dragon. And I made those two jars! Who will ever eat this?

The taller fruits I used for decoration on a thread. I hope they will dry and look nice. I would not think a little second of using them in our food.

Last night we invited our neighbours and I was offered a bouquet of those wonderful lilies

...we had a wonderful time - and free lessons in French.

  3. Hi Anneliese, those lillies are beautiful one of my favourite flowers. A lot of younger people these days just love chillies...and the hotter the better.
What great finds you had with the footpath finds.

  5. what a cute house Anneliese. Wonder if you could eat your chutney if you had some greek yogurt with it, just a thought or is it still far too hot.

  10. Such a lovely little house. I don't care for hot but there are people who love it so hopefully you'll find someone to share your pepper sauce with.
