The boss of the household - made this
And it is stored now in tin boxes
Marillenringe - Shortbread filled with abricot jam
Kokospralinen - cookies with cocos
Basler Leckerli - Gingerbread cookies
Nikolausplätzchen - Santa Claus cookies
Now you would think that I have time
to sew, stitch, embroider, paint, draw, sketch, fill my diary.
Nothing of the kind........
I am cooking already for Christmas
and the time after when one part of the family will be with us.
And doing a thousand other household related things
as everybody of you, dear readers, are doing as well.
Ooh I think I should come to visit for morning tea. Your baking looks like it will go very well with a cup of coffee.
ReplyDeleteOh, certainly - very good - and dangerous - 30 seconds on your tongue and 30 years on your hips.
DeleteThis IS a busy time of the year! I will have my worst time after Christmas when we start preparing for the Japanese new year, the most important holiday of the year here. Double punch to keep up the traditions of two different cultures!
ReplyDeleteHope you are having fun at the same time.
All the best.
You should inform us - your readers of your posts - about your festivities when everything is over, maybe. It would be interesting to know more about it.
Deleteplenty if baking here Anneliese, I am opting out this year and being lazy
ReplyDeleteYum yum yum - it all looks delicious. Even just looking at it puts calories on my hips! Yes, almost everybody is doing the same thing this time of year. Just ate my last pecan nut shortbread and it was delicious. xxx
ReplyDeleteLets move faster then - so we can enjoy more of it.
Deletedelicious looking goodies. i have to stay away from all that good stuff. i don't want to grow in size. enjoy.
ReplyDeleteMost of this stuff goes to friends - I restrict myself with much discipline - difficult !
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to D. They look like starlets on their way to fame.
