Another journey inspired me to this quilt. In the museum of Ashville, North Carolina, in the Appalachian Mountains, USA, I saw a quilt which amazed me. I made this one to remind me of it and the beautiful exhibition of art.

Blue Mountain Ridge
In 2004 I made several wall quilts and named them after landscapes which we visited. We made a trip to the Blue Mountain Ridge in Australia. We were very much impressed by the eucalyptus trees and the "Two Sisters". I tried to catch the colours of the mountains and the sandstone formations in this quilt.
