| I started a little reverse appliqué quilt as described in the Quilting Arts Magazine, Dec 2010/Jan 2011p. 54. Four to six layers of fabric patches are sewn together and parts are being cut out so that the colours from beneath appear. Then every little patch (4" x 4") is cut into four parts and rearranged. |

Never tried reverse applique on a sewing machine. This is a very nice result. I like the gelatine print too. I know I must have a Dutch tutorial for it in one of my magazines.

ReplyDeleteAnneliese, I just LOVE your reverse applique. I haven't done things like that for ever so long. Thank you for bringing up the gelatin printing, something I want to play with now that the weather is warmer here in Australia. You always have something inspiring to look at. Cheers.
