Fabric circles - Studio Journal

I am working with my studio journal
I found those discs as embellishment on a balcony in my town
They are looking a bit like gear wheels - as DH stated (no wonder as a mechanical engineer)
But anyway they fascinate me because each one is looking different
Certainly somebody had an interesting idea many years ago.
My sample is completely machine sewn

    Great work! You have done a lovely interpretation. It certainly is an interesting balcony decoration.
