Does it look unfinished?

No, one can hardly see the upper part of the draw-string pouch,

when it is closed.

I was afraid to "overstitch" it - so I set the motto: Keep it simpler!

Some balance of the embroidery might be good - in the upper part.

On both sides.

But I can always add a few stitches later on. It had to be dispelled from

my working table - I saw already roots coming out underneeth.

  4. Ha, ha, some old projects do seem to get rooted to the desktop! Then it is time to dig them up and complete.
It is a very stylish bag and it looks 'done' to me, but anything with crazy quilting could/should be overworked, so if you wish to add more fancy seams that would be fine.
I like the colour ways; the orange-yellow thread shines in the sunshine.

  6. Love this drawstring bag! Great idea to make loops at the top and a fabric ball at the ends of the string.

  8. Not unfinished - beautiful. You are right you cannot see the upper part. So why do the stiching!

  10. So you have finished before it took root, so well done Anneliese. Simple is always best and as usual your colours are pretty. The drawstring is perfect and the little baubles work well on it. xxx Di.
