What's on my workdesk - WOYWW 199

Not much is on my workdesk today on Wednesday before Easter
I was busy sewing small presents during the weekend
So today I am calming down and doing many other (household) things -

Knitting at the blanket and trying to crochet a clutch bag
with recycled Indian sari thread
this will be in the evening today

This wonderful thread was given to me for Christmas
and I made up my mind finally  to crochet a little bag
as far as the thread runs

You can see my blanket, well-known already,
And today the magazine Quilting Arts flew in
so imagine what I will do !!!
Anna is a German magazine with nice creations
it laughed at me and I had to get it.

  1. Pretty yarn to crochet a bag. Unlike you I could resist the Anna this time. I flipped through it in the store last week, but didn't buy it.

  2. How boring having to do housework isn't it. Like many others i'd rather be crafting . Hope you get you sewing projects finished. Happy woyww Jill #148

  3. I have used some recycled sari thread for my stumpwork portraits, but thought it would be hard to knit or crochet. I see that I was wrong. The bag is coming along nicely.

  5. Lovely thread! Anna used to be published in English, but sadly it stopped, a big shame :-(

  8. Interesting way to use the sari thread, Anneliese. It is always in such bright and beautiful colours. I have some but never thought of knitting or crocheting with it. You have been a busy beaver in my absence. Look forward to catching up on the rest of your blog during coffee times xxx Dianne.

  9. Nice work with the sari threads, Anneliese. They are always so bright and cheerful colours. I have some but never thought of knitting or crocheting with them. You have been a busy beaver in my absence. When it is coffee time I will read the rest of your blog. xxx Dianne.
