WOYWW 193 - some quilting lines

There isn't really anything new on my desk. But I will show what I am working at when I feel like it.
The quilt I started months ago .
I made already free-hand quilting lines following the design of the batik.
The little red squares are embellished with spirals.

I hope that enthusiasm will come back. It will take me another few hours
I don't really like to make the final jobs at a quilt, the binding and the tunnel.
For the moment I have got a good but annoying excuse:
My sewing machine - the good piece, the gold piece
is under repair. What an unusual  empty space on my desk!

Meanwhile I am noting recipes which I read in a baking book today at the bookstore
where we have our coffee.
I certainly have 10 m of cooking books but the newest recipes are always better :))

  11. It seems a lot of people don't like the finishing part of a job.
The quilt is very colorful. I'm sure it will find a place.

  15. It is a lovely quilt, and you are patient to unpick the quilting that you don't like. I have to confess that I love putting on the binding, you can see it finishing before your eyes.
