Tast 2013 - 51 - Raised Herringbone Band

Slowly,  I am filling in the very small crazy blog for the purse.
Here is my raised Herringbone Band
It came handy to hide the not very nicely machine sewn seam.
I think it is looking quite nice with blue satin stitches
and yellow herringbones and the orange thread going through it

My fabrics are cottons, silks and batiks

This is the opposite side of the little purse. There are 4 sides.
Two of them will be embellished with stitches.

  1. The Raised Herringbone Band works very well on a curve. Extra beauty is added with the French Knots. Lovely!
