Slowly, I am filling in the very small crazy blog for the purse.
Here is my raised Herringbone Band
It came handy to hide the not very nicely machine sewn seam.
I think it is looking quite nice with blue satin stitches
and yellow herringbones and the orange thread going through it
My fabrics are cottons, silks and batiks
This is the opposite side of the little purse. There are 4 sides.
Two of them will be embellished with stitches.
The Raised Herringbone Band works very well on a curve. Extra beauty is added with the French Knots. Lovely!

this purse is coming along a treat, I have also introduced orange into my crazy blocks and loving it.
