Hitchhiker Schal

I saw this pattern here - if you want to see a beautiful blog go there and have a look.
You start with five purl stitches (I made it like that) - in the beginning of every row I added 2 stitches - after 10 rows you bind off 5 stitches at the end of the row - that is how the prongs are created. And you purl all the way to and fro.
(Now my English readers, if I make mistakes, please let me know - this is my first knitting pattern which I am writing in English)

  1. This looks funny and easy to knit. Luckily you don't need it with this lovely weather!

  3. This is a very interesting pattern. Sounds easy enough, I think even I could do it. Would like to see a picture of the maker wearing it:-) Your translations are better than Bing.... Di.

  4. I happened to see your shawl on the sidebar of your blog and...well, here I am! I understand the directions perfectly! I will have to give it a go! I have only one question: How thick was your wool?

  5. Oops! Nevermind my question in my previous comment! I just looked at the German and saw the 100 grams with 3.5 mm needle! Got it! I can understand German if I take my time and read slowly. :)
